Our process begins with a one-on-one interview to help us understand exactly what you need out of your liftgate. There are many factors that go into selecting the correct liftgate. Some considerations are capacity, platform size, style and truck type. We can guide you step-by-step through the entire process to ensure you have the best liftgate for your specific needs.
Once we have a liftgate selected the install begins. The first step is prepping the truck by removing the existing liftgate or bumper. Next we “time the liftgate”. This is the technical process of properly positioning the liftgate. This ensures that the deck is level when up but also fully articulates and folds under the truck into its proper position. Once this step is complete, it is welded in place.
Next we run electrical and install the operating switch. At this point the mechanical installation is complete. We then put the liftgate through an operational quality check and make any necessary adjustments. Once this is passed, it is off to the paint booth. After paint, the final step is to install the safety stickers.
The finished product! We take pride in delivering a high-quality finish that satisfies your needs and expectations.
